Stone Walls and Steps
Stonework is one of the best investments a home owner can make. Stonewalls and structures last for centuries and actually improve with age as they weather and become adorned with moss and lichen. Stonewalls are typically New England and have been relied on since colonial times to fence in livestock, divide property, retain terraced slopes, and create beautiful backdrops for flower beds and plantings. Many of these early walls still stand today giving testimony to their durability.
We have been building beautiful and functional stone walls and steps for more than three decades. We use native fieldstone as well as specialty materials such as Goshen stone and tumbled bluestone. We also have the equipment to utilize larger boulders that may have been left on your property as the result of excavation.
